Being brought up with horses; Jane’s love for them inspires her work. Jane mostly uses the “Naked Raku” technique, in which a layer of slip becomes a resist between the glaze and the ceramic surface. Removed from the kiln when molten, and placed in a smoke chamber, the glaze can be scraped off leaving only fine lines of impregnated smoke.
